CSIR-NEERI Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry from recognized university.
• Essential qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry from recognized university.

Salary/Stipend

• (a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and / or their Agencies / Institutions.
• (b) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.

Age Limit 

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

• Selection will be done on the basis of Online Interview (through MS Team/Skype/ etc.)
• Date of interview will be notified separately in www.neeri.res.in website.

General Information/Instructions

• The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects.
• The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration regularization against any CSIR/CSIR – NEERI post(s).
• Moreover, under no circumstances the tenure of project staff who have served CSIR-NEERI or any other laboratories/Institutes of CSIR under contract R&D projects would be allowed to exceed Six or Seven years as the case may be as per clause no. 1.6/1.7 of CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD Dated 02.09.2024 as amended from time to time.
• Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
• Candidates are not required to pay any application fees.
