Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification / Experience: Must be retired Naib Tehsildars who have rendered minimum 5 years of service in any wing of the Revenue Department of Himachal Pradesh before superannuation.
• No departmental / disciplinary proceedings pending against them.

Salary/ Stipend

• Rs. 60,000/- per month for retired Naib Tehsildar.
• Monthly remuneration paid on the basis of performance/work conduct certificate issued by the Controlling Authority, including details of cases dealt/disposed of.

Age Limit (as on 22 January 2026)

• The retirees to be engaged should not be more than 65 years of age on the date of advertisement of vacancies.

Selection Process

• Considered for the post on the recommendations of the committee.
• If applications exceed the number of vacancies, candidates who are junior in age will be given preference.

General Information / Instructions

• Re-engagement initially for 03 months, extendable based on performance and requirement.
• Service is purely temporary and liable to be terminated at any time or on availability of regular officials.
• Period of engagement not counted for any benefits linked to prior service.
• Entitled to one day’s casual leave after one month of service; no other leave admissible.
• Unauthorized absence leads to automatic termination and no emoluments for absent period.
• Must procure fitness certificate from a Government Hospital.
• Entitled to TA/DA for official tours at rates applicable to regular officials at minimum pay scale.
• Continue to avail medical facilities and reimbursement as admissible to retirees.
• After clearance of pendency of revenue cases, services shall be terminated.
• Promotion of existing Kanungos not affected; posts considered vacant for promotion purposes.
• Place of posting: Against vacant posts in Tehsil/Sub Tehsil within District Hamirpur, H.P.
