Eligibility Criteria
- Young Professional-II (YP_II_LFOM): Essential – M.Tech in Soil and water conservation engineering / irrigation and drainage engineering / Farm Machinery and Power with B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering. Desirable – Field experience regarding installation and maintenance of drip irrigation system.
- Young Professional-I (YP_I_LFOM): Essential – Minimum 12th Standard pass with 2-year Diploma in Agriculture or 2-year Polytechnic Agriculture or 3-Year Under-Graduation degree in Agriculture or Horticulture. Desirable – Work experience in soil and plant analysis / Chemical or Biochemical analysis and knowledge about various instruments used in soil and plant analysis, laying out of field experiment, recording of observations and data entry.
- Semi-skilled labour (SSL): Essential – Minimum 10th Standard pass and ability to carry out routine type of laboratory and field work or work under supervision of Scientist. Desirable – Candidate should be soft spoken, able to understand Hindi, Odia and English. Having work experience in any soil/plant/water/biochemical/ laboratories / chemical vocational training will be of added advantage.
Salary/ Stipend
- Young Professional-II: Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated
- Young Professional-I: Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated
- Semi-skilled labour: Rs. 15,500/- per month consolidated
Age Limit (as on the date of interview)
- Young Professional-II & Young Professional-I: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years. Relaxation in age for ST, SC and OBC as per ICAR/Govt. of India rule.
- Semi-skilled labour: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women. Relaxation for ST, SC and OBC as per ICAR/Govt. of India rule.

General Information/ Instructions
- Engagements are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; no right for absorption in ICAR-IIWM/ICAR.
- Selected candidates may be required to travel for project-related work.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
- The Director, ICAR-IIWM reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
- Candidates must join immediately if selected.
- Validity of waiting list panel: One year from the day of declaration of result.
