Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Post-Graduation in Agrometeorology.
• If the candidate with Agrometeorology qualification not available, then candidate with qualification in Agronomy/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Physics may be considered.

Salary / Stipend

• Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA (Emolument per month, fixed).

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for candidate will be 40 years for male.
• The upper age limit for candidate will be 45 years for female.

Selection Process

• Walk-in interview.
• Verification of original documents at the time of interview.
• University reserves the right to cancel/amend the interview/candidature without assigning any reason.
• In case of any inadvertent mistake in the selection process detected at any stage, the University reserves the right to modify/cancel/withdraw the appointment/interview.

General Information / Instructions

• The post is purely on temporary basis (contractual) and co-terminus with the project and engagement will be given for the period of 11 months or till the project is continued, whichever is earlier.
• S. D. Agricultural University is not bound to provide any employment to the candidate in any capacity after completion of the project period.
• S. D. Agricultural University holds no responsibility for regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts in the university on termination of the project.
• If the performance of selected candidate is not found satisfactory or in case of misconduct, his/her services will be terminated without any prior notice even before the period for which he/she is engaged.
• The university shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by the candidate at any time even after engagement. If it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidate are fake or the candidate has clandestine antecedents/background, then his/her services shall be terminated.
• Candidates working under the Central / State Government / Public Sector will have to submit their application through proper channel with no objection certificate.
• During engagement, if he/she wishes to leave project/contract before the expiry of the project, he/she shall have to give one month’s notice or, in lieu of notice, he/she will have to pay one month’s salary to the university.
• Candidates should attach self attested copies of all relevant certificates with the application and bring original documents for verification at the time of interview.
• Eligible candidates must submit his/her application along with recent passport size photograph and all certified copies of educational qualifications, work experience and age proof at the time of interview.
• Candidates reporting after 09.00 hr. will not be allowed for interview.
