Eligibility Criteria
- Doctorate degree in Human Development and Family Studies/Home Science or Master’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies / Home Science with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point scale system. For candidates having Master’s degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory.
Salary / Stipend
- Rs. 650/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 30,000/- per month for candidates fulfilling eligibility of Assistant Professor in the discipline
- Rs. 550/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month for candidates possessing only Master’s degree in the concerned discipline.

General Information / Instructions
- The last date of submission of application to the office of Dean, College of Community Science is 16th Feb 2026.
- The date and time of interview is 18.02.2026, 10:00 am.
- The candidates should bring their original certificates and a set of attested copies with respect to academic qualifications, teaching experience, publications and category as applicable.
- Number of seats may increase or decrease as per change in the requirements.
- The College further reserves the right not to fill any of the posts at its discretion without assigning any reason.
- Selected candidates shall be engaged on contractual basis for IInd semester 2025-26 only and shall be required to join the duties immediately.
- The terms and conditions of engagement will be as per policy approved by the University.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending interview.
- In case no eligible candidate is available at the time of interview from the reserved categories, the position shall be filled from unreserved category, considering the compulsions of the teaching faculty needs of the department.
- No separate intimation shall be made for interview.
- Preference will be given to subject disciple expert in HDFS but if suitable candidate is not available than candidate from other department will be considered.
