Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pathology field, OR
  • M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

Age Limit

Maximum 30 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Salary

Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 24,000 per month, including 20% House Rent Allowance (HRA). No other allowances or facilities are payable.

Contract Period

1 year on contract basis for a research project funded by ICMR. Position may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Project Investigator.

Project Details

Project Title: Epigenetic priming with Azacytidine and monitoring circulating tumor-cell methylation in metastatic triple negative breast cancer: Multicenter Phase 2, Randomised Controlled Trial

Funding Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)

Project Investigator: Dr. Biswajit Dubashi (Department of Medical Oncology)

Job Responsibilities

  • Collection and processing of biological samples as per study protocol
  • Data collection, entry, and maintenance of study records
  • Coordination of patient follow-up and assistance during clinical visits
  • Ensuring adherence to study-related procedures and ethical requirements

Selection Process

Written Test

The written test will assess:

  • Clinical trials and clinical research fundamentals
  • Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP)
  • Handling samples under sterile conditions and maintaining specimen integrity
  • Data entry skills
  • Basic knowledge in Excel and MS Word

Interview

Panel interview evaluating:

  • Understanding of clinical workflow and GCLP principles
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge
  • Communication skills
  • Aptitude for the role
