NITAP Guest Faculty Civil Engineering Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Civil Engineering.
• Specialization: Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• The post is for engagement of temporary Guest Faculty in the Department of Civil Engineering for the Academic Session January–June 2026.

Salary/Stipend

• For candidates with Ph.D.: Rs. 1,500/- per class, subject to a maximum of Rs. 60,000/- per month.
• For candidates without Ph.D.: Rs. 1,000/- per class, subject to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month.
• Lab/tutorial classes of 02 contact hours duration will be treated as 01 contact hour for honorarium/remuneration.

Selection Process

• Selection will be through a Walk-in-interview on the scheduled date and time.
• Interested candidates may appear for the Walk-in-interview along with bio-data/CV stating qualification, specialization and teaching experience (if any) and originals of supporting documents.
• Eligible candidates may send their bio-data/CV in advance to the respective department.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, and no separate interview call letter will be sent.
• Persons engaged in any full-time job in any organization shall not be considered for interview.
• The decision of the Competent Authority of NIT Arunachal Pradesh shall be final.

• The post of Guest Faculty is purely temporary and only for the Academic Session January–June 2026.

• Persons already engaged in any full-time job will not be considered for this Guest Faculty position.
