Position 1: Project Research Scientist III (Medical)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 93,000/- per month + HRA as admissible
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 years
- Contract Duration: 11 months initially, extendable
Essential Qualifications:
- MBBS / BDS / BAMS or equivalent, AND
- Post Graduate Degree (MD/MDS/MPH or equivalent, including integrated PG), AND
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, OR
- MBBS / BDS / BAMS with MPH / PhD with minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
Position 2: Project Research Scientist I (Medical)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA as admissible
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
- Contract Duration: 11 months initially, extendable
Essential Qualifications:
- MBBS / BDS / BAMS or equivalent
Position 3: Project Nurse II
- Number of Posts: 4
- Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month + HRA as admissible

- Three-year General Nursing and Midwife (GNM) Course
Position 4: Data Entry Operator
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 29,200/- per month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application / IT / Computer Science from a recognized institution/university
- Speed test: Not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph) on computer

- Prior experience in health-related projects and qualitative research
- Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English
- Proficiency in MS-Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Forms, and Docs
- Good communication skills
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST candidates: Up to 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: Up to 3 years
- PWD candidates: Up to 15 years (subject to 40% or more disability)
- Government Research Organisation candidates: Up to 5 years additional relaxation (case-by-case basis)
Employment Details
- Duration: Initial appointment for 11 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements
- Nature: Contractual, co-terminus with project
- Place of Posting: Nagpur, Maharashtra (with willingness to travel within Nagpur district for rural and tribal areas)
- Renewal: Based on performance evaluation with Executive Director’s approval
- Termination: Can be terminated with one-week notice if not performing well
- No Claim to Permanent Employment: Selected candidates cannot claim permanent employment with ICMR or AIIMS Nagpur
Experience Requirements
- Experience gained preferably from Government Organisation
- Experience counted after completion of Minimum Essential Qualification
- Experience in relevant field/area for the research project will be considered
- Experience certificate must clearly state the nature of work

About the Project
This is a three-year ICMR-funded research project aimed at integrating telemedicine with capacity building to improve trauma care services in tribal and rural blocks of Central India. The study uses a pre- and post-quasi experimental design to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention.
