Eligibility Criteria

Project Technician-III – Sr. Lab. Assistant

• Essential Qualifications and experience: 12th Pass in science subjects with a graduation in relevant subject/field (B.Sc. in Pulmonary Function Test Technology) OR Alternatively, two-year Diploma in Pulmonary Function Test/Technology plus one year of experience in pulmonary laboratory or health-related research projects. (BSc degree is considered equivalent to three years of experience.)
• Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience in pulmonary function technology laboratory or handling research projects and field work. Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and other internet programs) is required. (Documentary Proof required). Fluency in local language (Marwari & Hindi) and English (oral and written)

Project Technician-II – Field Assistant (Field worker)

• Essential Qualifications and experience: High school or equivalent with five years of experience in Data collection from field or Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification. OR 12th/Intermediate with science subject and BSc (Social science/Sociology/science) shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years’ experience respectively. OR 12th/Intermediate pass with 3 years of experience in Data collection from field/Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification. OR B.Sc. with 2 years of experience in Data collection from field/Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification. Willing to work in the field.
• Desirable Qualifications: Master of Public Health Degree/Medical social work/ M. Sc. Nursing will be preferred. Experience in Data collection from field/Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute or handling research projects gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification. Knowledge of computer applications. (Documentary proof required). Fluency in local language (Marwari, Hindi and English)

Salary/ Stipend

• Project Technician-III – Sr. Lab. Assistant: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA admissible
• Project Technician-II – Field Assistant (Field worker): Rs. 20,000/- (Fixed) + HRA admissible

Age Limit (as on 11 February 2026)

• Project Technician-III – Sr. Lab. Assistant: Maximum 30 years
• Project Technician-II – Field Assistant (Field worker): Maximum 28 years

Selection Process

• Walk-in-Interview
• If number of candidates >10, shortlisting based on Desirable Qualifications (after fulfilling Essential Qualifications)
• If eligible candidates >3, screening test followed by interview (shortlisted in ratio 1:3 per post)
• Marks of screening test used only for shortlisting, not carried forward to interview

General Information / Instructions

• Posts are purely temporary, co-terminus with the project; no claim for permanent employment under AIIMS Jodhpur/ICMR
• No TA/DA admissible for interview
• All qualifications/experience from recognized Board/University, full-time, and post-qualification
• Persons in Govt./Public Sector must produce No Objection Certificate
• Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification
• Tenure: 6 months (extension subject to ICMR decision and satisfactory performance)
• Age concession for experience in other ICMR research projects (case-by-case)
• Contract terminable by either party with one week notice
• False information leads to cancellation/termination
