Eligibility Criteria

• Gender: Only female candidates are eligible.
• Qualification: Minimum educational qualification is Intermediate or equivalent. Merit will be prepared on the basis of educational qualification up to Post Graduate.
• Residency: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the concerned Gram Sabha / Ward (Urban) for which the post is advertised. Applications from other areas will not be accepted.
• Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025): Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. Date of birth mentioned in High School marksheet / certificate will only be considered.

Selection Process

• Selection of Anganwadi Workers will be done on the basis of merit list prepared according to the educational qualifications of the candidates.
• Priority order for selection in the same Gram Sabha / Ward (Urban) is as follows:
• (I) Widow BPL candidate of the same Gram Sabha / Ward
• (II) Divorced / Abandoned BPL candidate of the same Gram Sabha / Ward
• (III) BPL candidate of the same Gram Sabha / Ward
• (IV) Widow APL candidate of the same Gram Sabha / Ward
• (V) Divorced / Abandoned APL candidate of the same Gram Sabha / Ward
• (VI) APL candidate of the same Gram Sabha / Ward

General Information / Instructions

• Only online applications submitted on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in within the stipulated time will be accepted. Offline applications will not be accepted in any case.
• Candidates must read the Government Order dated 17 September 2025 carefully before applying.
• Number of advertised posts may increase or decrease as per requirement.
• All details including project-wise, ward/gram sabha-wise vacancies and reservation are available on the official website and notice boards of concerned offices.
• Income, Caste and Residence certificates must be digitally signed and issued from Tehsil and should be verifiable online.
