Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• First class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree.
• Second class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD.

Desirable: Preference will be given to NET / GATE cleared candidates.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidate as per rules.

Salary / Stipend

• Salary: Rs.56,000 + 20% HRA Per Month (As per ICMR Rules)

Walk-In Procedure

Candidates who wish to attend the walk-in interview for PGIMER Project Research Scientist-I Recruitment 2026 should follow the steps below.

• Walk-in Interview will be conducted on 27 February 2026 at 10:30 AM at the office of Prof. Kusum Sharma, Dept. of Medical Microbiology, 2nd Floor, Research Block-A, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

• Report at the venue as per the reporting time (10:30 AM).
