Educational Qualification for AIIMS Group A 2026
- General Duty Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification as per Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 + Compulsory Rotating Internship.
- Educational Media Generalist: Master’s Degree in Psychology / Behavioural Sciences / Social Sciences / Education / Health Education / Communication + 6 years media production experience. PhD preferred.
- Research Officer: MBBS / B.V.Sc / B.Pharm / Pharm.D / MSc (Medical or Life Sciences streams) / BE/BTech (Biomedical/Pharma/Biotech) + 3 years biopharma industry experience.
- Veterinary Assistant Surgeon: Recognized Veterinary Degree + Registration with State/Indian Veterinary Council. Knowledge of CCSEA norms preferred.
All qualifications must be completed on or before the last date of application.

Section 5: Selection Process (REGA-2.0)
- Stage I – CBT (Online Written Test): 200 MCQs (160 Domain + 40 General English/Aptitude/Awareness), 1/3 Negative Marking.
- Stage II – Screening: Document eligibility check (5x candidates per seat).
- Stage III – Descriptive Written Test (DWT): Offline, 2 Hours, 50 Marks.
Final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks of Stage I & Stage III.
Section 6: Salary & Pay Scale
- Pay Level 10: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (7th CPC)
- Pay Level 11: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (7th CPC)
