Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: ITI passed in the following trades only:
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Machinist
- Turner
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV)
- Draughtsman Mechanical
- Welder (Gas & Electric)
- Candidates appearing for Walk-in-interview for apprenticeship trainee in trades other than the above mentioned will not be entertained
- Final year students and those awaiting results are NOT ELIGIBLE to be considered
- Candidates already undergoing or undergone Apprenticeship Training are not permitted to attend the Walk-in-Interview
- Before attending walk-in interview, candidates must register on apprenticeship web portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- Candidates must possess original certificates including SSLC, ITI, Character, Conduct and Nativity certificate issued by the Principal of the Institution last attended
Salary/Stipend
- For Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV), and Draughtsman Mechanical: Rs. 10,560/- per month
- For Welder (Gas & Electric): Rs. 9,600/- per month
- The stipend will be paid monthly during the one-year training period
- Training period: One year from the date of joining
Age Limit (as on date of Interview)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Age will be calculated as on the date of interview
- Age relaxation as per Government of India rules applicable

- No TA (Travelling Allowance) will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process
- Walk-in-Interview: Candidates will be selected through Walk-in-Interview process only
- Candidates must report at CSIR-NAL RAB Meeting Complex as per the schedule mentioned for registration and verification of documents
- No candidates will be allowed for registration after 09:30 AM
- Selection will be based on interview performance and document verification
- The admission is governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 and orders issued by the Regional Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (RDSDE)
- Training will be under the guidance of Superintendent, Apprenticeship Training ASDC, CSIR-NAL
General Information/Instructions
- CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories is a unit under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India
- The period of training will be one year from the date of joining
- CSIR-NAL will not provide accommodation to the apprentice trainee and they should make their own arrangements
- The Director, CSIR-NAL will not be held responsible for any injury or risk that may be caused to the apprentice trainee while undergoing training
- Apprentices will be granted 12 days casual leave and 15 days medical leave on production of medical certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner in a year
- 10 days extraordinary leave without stipend will be granted only on emergency hospital grounds
- It shall be neither obligatory on the part of the employer to offer any employment to the apprentice on completion of training nor shall it be obligatory on the part of the apprentice to accept employment
- Reservation as per Government of India rules will be applicable
- Admission is subject to production of all original certificates including SSLC, ITI, Character, Conduct and Nativity certificate, Medical certificate, and Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authorities
