Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification details are to be filled in the application form under “Educational/Technical Qualifications with Examination passed (attach copy of Certificates and mark sheets with application)” including examination name, university/board, division, percentage and subjects.
• The application form provides for recording qualifications at Intermediate, B.Sc./B.Tech., M.Sc./M.Tech., Ph.D., and NET/SET/GATE levels.
• Applicants are required to furnish details of employment record with post held, pay scale, period (from–to) and job description (experience/teaching/industrial experience).
• Category information (If belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS) is to be provided with supporting category certificate as per the application form.
• Other qualification-related fields include department/subject name, name of candidate, father/mother’s name and other personal particulars as specified in the application form.

Salary/Stipend

• Rs. 550/- per hour for the candidates fulfilling the eligibility of Assistant Professor.
• Rs. 250/- per hour for the candidates as per reservation policy of Government of Uttarakhand.
• Rs. 30000/-per month for candidates fulfilling the eligibility of Assistant Professor in the discipline.
• Rs. 25000/- per month for the candidates possessing B. Tech. degree only in the concerned discipline.

Selection Process

• Selection will be made through a Walk-in Interview to be held in the Conference Room of Old Building (PCT), College of Technology, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar.

General Information/Instructions

• The Walk-in Interview is being conducted in anticipation of approval of the competent authority for engagement of teachers on contractual basis for I Semester 2025-26.
• Remuneration will be paid at Rs. 550/- per hour for candidates fulfilling the eligibility of Assistant Professor and Rs. 250/- per hour for candidates as per reservation policy of Government of Uttarakhand.
• Details such as name of department, name of candidate, personal particulars, category, educational/technical qualifications, employment record and list of publications are to be provided in the prescribed application form.
• A declaration is to be signed by the applicant stating that the entries in the application are true and that concealment or provision of false information may lead to disqualification from selection.
