Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential Qualification for YP-I: B.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Soil Science / Agronomy / Agricultural Microbiology. OR B.Sc. in Botany / Microbiology / Environmental Science / Biotechnology / Chemistry.
  • Desirable Qualification for YP-I: Experience in soil, plant and water analysis work in laboratory and field experimentation and preparation of scientific / technical reports / papers.
  • Essential Qualification for AFO: Matriculation with +2 Vocational in Agriculture related subject. OR Matriculation with two (02) years of working experience in agricultural field work from reputed organization.
  • Desirable Qualification for AFO: Power tiller, Grass cutter, Seed drill and threshing, Water circulation pump etc. Experience in farm operation.

Salary / Stipend

  • Young Professional-I (YP-I): Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
  • Agricultural Field Operator (AFO): Rs. 18,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Age Limit 

  • For YP-I: Min. 21 years and max. 45 years with relaxation as per rule.
  • For AFO: Min 18 years and maximum 50 years.

Selection Process

  • Walk-in-Interview comprising written-cum-personal interview.
  • In case of a large number of candidates appearing for the walk-in-Interview, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist the candidates for interview.

General Information / Instructions

  • The above position(s) is/are purely temporary and is co-terminus with the scheme/project. The service of appointed candidate will stand terminated automatically after expiry of the scheme/project or completion of period indicated in the selection offer, whichever is earlier and the candidate will not have any right for absorption in CRRI/ICAR. The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
  • Director, ICAR-CRRI reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of position(s) and also to cancel the recruitment process for the position mentioned above. Director’s decision will be final and binding in all aspects.
  • No TA and DA for appearing in the interview are admissible.
  • Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.
  • If currently employed, then the candidate will have to furnish no-objection certificate from the current employer for appearing in the interview.
  • No candidate will be entertained strictly after above mentioned time.

  • Eligible & desirous candidates are advised to bring one recent passport size photograph, original educational certificates (matriculation onwards) along with Xerox copy & experience certificate of relevant subject (as per advertisement) for appearing in walk-in-interview comprising written-cum-personal interview on prescribed date, time and place.
