Eligibility Criteria
NCC Special Entry Women Officers:
- Graduate Degree from recognized University
- Minimum 2-3 years service in NCC Senior Division/Wing
- Minimum ‘B’ Grade in NCC ‘C’ Certificate (for NCC category)
- Must be unmarried female (including Wards of Battle Casualties)
Wards of Battle Casualties:
- Graduate Degree from recognized University
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate NOT required
- Battle Casualty Certificate issued by Manpower Directorate

- Shortlisting based on NCC ‘C’ Certificate grades and Graduation marks (Max 100 marks: 50 marks for NCC performance, 50 marks for academic performance)
- Merit list prepared after bonus marks award
- Selection on Vacancy to SSB Call-up Ratio basis
- Two-stage Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at approved centres
- Medical examination for SSB-recommended candidates
- Pre-Commission training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for 49 weeks
- Final merit list based on SSB marks and age
- Issue of joining letters in order of merit within vacancies
