Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualifications

  • M.A/M.Sc. in Anthropology or allied subjects with minimum 55% marks for General category candidates (50% in case of SC/ST candidates).
  • The age of candidate should be below 40 years
  • Knowledge of Punjabi language is must
  • The candidate/s having fieldwork knowledge in the related subject will be given preference.

• Desirable Qualifications

  • The candidate/s having experience in anthropological Social Impact Assessment (SIA) studies will be given preference/priority
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of fieldwork and must be willing to conduct independent fieldwork/data collection

Salary / Stipend

• Emoluments: Rs. 36,000/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit 

• The age of candidate should be below 40 years

• Applications are invited for 02 (Two) posts of Research Investigators for Three months only, purely on hiring/contract basis, in a Social Impact Assessment project entitled “Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study for acquisition of 23 Acre-05 Kanal-18 Marlas land for shifting of Border Security Fencing close to International Border in Gurdaspur Sector of Punjab No. 2/M to B.P. No. 10/08 in Gurdaspur Sector (Length: 8.950 KMs), under section 4.1 of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act (RFCTLARR)-2013”.
• The interested candidates can attend the walk-in-interview before the selection committee, along with their detailed bio-data and attested copies of educational qualifications, certificates and work experience, in the office of the undersigned on January 28, 2026, at 3.00 PM.
• No T.A./D.A. is permissible for appearing in the interview.
