Eligibility Criteria

• Three years graduation degree in genetic counseling/human genetics/Life Sciences with three years post qualification experience.
• OR M.Sc in genetic counseling/human genetics.
• OR M.Sc in any branch of life sciences with Board of Genetic counseling certification.
• OR M.Sc in genetics with PG diploma in medical and genetic counselling.
• One year of experience is desirable for candidates with M.Sc based qualifications.

Salary / Stipend

• Consolidated salary of Rs. 36,400/- per month (Rs. 28,000/- + 30% HRA).

Age Limit 

• Maximum age limit: 35 years.

General Information / Instructions

• This is a five-year ICMR-funded study on germline variants in genes associated with Hereditary Myeloid Malignancy Syndrome (HMMS) among Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) patients.
• The role includes counselling patients and their families regarding study participation, safety, and genetic concerns.
• The role includes assisting in the interpretation and communication of genetic test results.
• The candidate has to ensure ethical compliance in all aspects of the study.
• The candidate will work closely with clinicians and researchers to enable smooth coordination between clinical and research teams.
• The initial duration of the appointment is six months and is extendable based on work progress.
• The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension may be given after six months.
